The festival concluded well, the estimated number of people at the festival is somewhere between 17,000 and 20,000 people over the 4 days. It was neat to see our team work together with the Rwandans to serve God and share his love in song, dance, and personal testimony. As preparation for the festival we spent a lot of time in the villages surrounding Kayonza visiting people in their homes and sharing both our life stories and the gospel.
We have been partnering with the Medical Team for the last two days at the clinics in Kayonza. God is moving in amazing ways through the clinics. Around 300 people have been seen in the last two days with a few more days of clinics to go. Pray that God would continue to give the medical providers wisdom, the support people grace and patience, and that he would multiply our time so that we can provide care to as many people as possible. Pray also for the spiritual ministry to these people who need to know our Savior so much more than the physical care they so desperately need.
We also had a tree removed at the mission house specifically so we could play baseball tonight with the boys from the Kanombe Boys Home, one of the orphanages run by Africa New Life Ministries.
After the clinic tomorrow we will travel to the Akagera Game Park for two nights for a safari and debrief time.
God has blessed us in amazing ways during this trip, even though we would love more time in Rwanda we are excited to come home and share with you all that God has done through us in Rwanda.

So good to hear from you again! Sounds like you are having wonderful opportunities to touch the hearts of the Rwandan people! Praying that in your last few days there you will have time to rest and reflect on all that God has accomplished through your willing hands and hearts. May God grant you safety in your travels home.
Elizabeth - Miss you so much and can't wait to see your smiling face!
Love, Mom
PS. Had my first Jamba Juice in Cali with the boys!
Lissa:
It sounds like you have had a busy time so far and very rewarding. I am happy for you and the whole Rwanda team and cannot wait to hear about all of your experiences. I just returned last night from our trip - tired but grateful to God for His grace. I know the same awaits you and I will pray that your last few days there will complete the work that God has started in your heart - and leave you hungering for more of His presence in your life. I love you, miss you greatly, and am so proud of how you are developing as a disciple.
Love, Dad
Team,
I've enjoyed hearing all the updates...its exciting to hear how God is at work in Rwanda and how he's using your gifts & abilities - I'm disappointed that I can't be there to see all of it (but I'm sure lil DH will tell me all bout it).
Enjoy the end of your trip - especially the "Welcome Juice" when you arrive at Akagera.
Speaking of drinks, make every attempt to score a case of Fanta to bring back - their's tastes better..
I'll be praying for a safe trip back for you all.
God Bless and Stay Strong,
The "Real" DH
